KEM-201 is a non-phenolic liquid product intended for general cleaning of painted as well as unpainted aircraft surfaces.
Meets the requirements of P-C-444 B Type I (non-phenolic).
Application
KEM-201 is applied for removing oil, grease, mud, smoke and other foreign matters from various surfaces including aircraft surfaces.
It is safe on Aluminum, Steel, Magnesium, Titanium and does not affect the anodize coatings.
It can be used on painted and unpainted surfaces as well as on acrylic parts when used according the instructions.
Usage
KEM-201 is normally used neat or diluted with mineral spirits in concentrations ranging between 1 part compound and 9 parts mineral spirits to 1 part compound and 4 parts mineral spirits by volume depending on the degree of soil.
KEM-201 may be applied by rag, spray or immersion; allow the solution to remain on surfaces until softening of the soils and then rinse with plenty of water under pressure. The compound will generally remove hard and soft film corrosion preventive coatings and hence should not be used on parts thus protected unless removal of such films is desired.
