CARB-OVER-115 is a liquid product specially formulated for removing carbon and paint at elevated temperatures.
CARB-OVER-115 meets U.S. Military Specification MIL-C-25107B and AMS-1546.
Usage
CARB-OVER-115 may be used neat although adding some water is recommended in order to avoid product loss and to reduce vapors.
The layer is formed by mixing approximately 3 parts CARB-OVER-115 with 1 part water and allowing the chemical layer to separate and float to the surface. The layer should be maintained at a height of 10-15 cm with periodic additions of water.
The bath is heated at 60-70oC and the parts are immersed so that they are completely covered in the lower layer.
The parts must be totally immersed in the lower layer and should be positioned in baskets so that minimum drag-out occurs.
Allow for 1 – 24 hours, depending on the residue. Scrub lightly with a brush if possible and rinse with high-pressure water or more preferably by STEAM CLEANING.
