MIL-DTL-53022F, Type IV is a two-component, HAPS-free, and lead and chromate-free epoxy primer. This primer meets MIL-DTL-53022F Type IV composition and performance specification, and may be used as a primer under polyurethane CARC, specified in MIL-DTL-53039, MIL-PRF-22750 or MIL-DTL-64159 topcoats, or MIL-PRF-85285 (non-aircraft) polyurethane topcoats.
