MIL-DTL-11195H, Type 2 is a single component, HAPS Free, corrosion-inhibiting alkyd enamel coating for use as a topcoat on exterior and interior metal surfaces.
This low VOC alkyd enamel spec was created for use on ammunition. It may be applied direct to pretreated steel or may be used with an epoxy primer such as MIL-DTL-53022E. Use with a wash primer such as DOD-P-15328D for best adhesion.
We offer Revision H Type 2 for SAE-AMS-STD-595/ Fed. Standard 595 colors 34088, 35109 ,36231 and 37038 and Revision G for all other Fed. Standard 595 colors in both Types 1 and 2.
